Tuesday:
”Habitrekking” Observation, inquiry, and evidence gathering will combine
for a fun filled afternoon of Habitrekking. This outdoor team activity
teaches about habitats and wild life ecology. Student explorations will
reveal that people and animals share similar basic needs and that the health
and well being of us all depends on a sustainable and healthy environment.
Wednesday:
“Playing Lightly on the Earth” Wild animals play and live without
causing long-term destruction to their home. Together we will think of
daily things we people do that may impact wildlife and their habitats.
Skits, play-acting, creative writing, & or drawings are used to encourage
ideas for less harmful choices and small changes we can all make starting
today!
Each day’s
theme is explored through outdoor activities, crafts, and games. In harsh
